The Choirs, Singing and Remembrance program is aimed at older people with age-related cognitive impairment pathologies. The aim of bringing music closer to this group is to help them remember the songs of their childhood, adolescence, to evoke memories, bring well-being and improve their mood through singing and interaction.
The programme is aimed at older people with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or age-related cognitive impairment pathologies that require social and health care, offering an accompaniment service to the elderly and a support service for family members and caregivers.
The therapists of each centre indicate those who, due to their condition, can benefit the most from the activity and all people will have the possibility of being part of the choir.
The aim of the sessions is to remember and sing the songs of their childhood, of their adolescence, to evoke memories, bring well-being and raise the mood. It also makes them feel like participants and protagonists of an activity, improves their self-esteem and empowerment, as well as generates relationships among the rest of the beneficiaries.

AcompañArte is a program that aims to contribute to the improvement of the mental health of people with functional diversity through the realization of telematic musical performances between volunteers and people who suffer from loneliness.
